Formed in November 2008, the orchestra has gone from strength to strength from the eight people that took themselves and their instruments around the bars and clubs of Hurst Street one night before Christmas.

Since then, notable performances at Adrian Boult Hall have included The Birmingham Pride Proms which is quickly becoming a much-anticipated fixture of the Birmingham Pride weekend celebrations.

The orchestra is looking to recruit more players to join this unique group. We welcome all members of the LGBT community and their friends! In particular we are on the lookout for players in the Strings, Horn, Brass and Percussion sections.  We don't hold auditions or ask for a minimum standard. All we ask is that you are brimming over with enthusiasm!
