At L Fest the sports and games fun not competition. So if you want to play a game as a team or come on your own then the L Fest crew will team you up. Each year we try to add different activities and I’m sure you wont be disappointed with years choices!

Volleyball & Rounders

Back in 2012, we left these two sports off the programme in favour of more elaborate games - however your feedback showed this is what you wanted! So the Rounders and Volleyball competitions are here to stay! Where you want to join in as a team or a solo and we will create a solos team - everyone is welcome :-)

Saturday Afternoon Mobile Laser Tag

Laser Tag2U is different to your standard laser quest where you can shoot aliens and other objects around the game to get yourself extra points. The giant inflatable objects will be all over the outdoor course for you to hide behind.   Games normally last between 5 and 10 minutes. Throughout the game the gun will talk to you telling you when you have tag or de activated someone.  Laser Tag you can have the choose between different types of  games e.g. capture the flag, last one standing plus many others.

Sunday Afternoon Bubble Football

This guarantees a lot of laughter and a lot of bumping. You will enjoy yourself so much, you will think you're a kid again. Once the whistle starts everybody flies straight in, there's a lot of bumping, bouncing, rolling and laughing especially from the spectators. You and your friends will be laughing for days after. Not seen it be played before, then check out the video!

Running Workshop

Running workshop for runners of all abilities. I am offering you ladies a 5km (30-40min) run at a medium pace, so why do it solo if we can run together?

Join me on Saturday at 10am and Sunday at 11am, to meet new people with similar interests, make new friends and burn some calories! Plus you'll be getting an energy boost for a day full of fun and unforgettable L Fest memories - so show your heart some loving and join us!

Looking forward to seeing you ladies!

Cycling Workshop

L Fest have teamed up with British Cycling’s Breeze network – Led by women, for women - so bring your bike!

LFest have teamed up with British Cycling’s Breeze network – Led by women, for women.  Breeze is the biggest programme ever to get more women into riding bikes for fun, fitness or a challenge. The aim is to help thousands more women feel confident and comfortable about going on a ride. While cycling is becoming more and more popular in the UK, the proportion of women getting involved is actually declining, Breeze is changing that.

We will be organising two bike rides during the weekend, on both Saturday and Sunday morning. These will be led by trained ride leaders and will be a on mixture of quiet roads – unfortunately for the longer rides we cant help hitting a few busier roads at first. You don’t have to be able to ride like Victoria Pendleton, you just need to be able to ride your bike comfortably. We will take in the fresh air, countryside and a nice pub stop along the way!

Hire Bikes are available for those of you who don’t have one or are travelling by train. The local bike shop Uttoxeter Cycles have a limited number of bikes to hire at a cost of £20/day. Please book direct with them stating you are part of Breeze @LFest and they will bring the bikes to the racecourse before the rides start. http://uttoxetercycles.co.uk/

Breeze trains up volunteers who organise fun, social, local bike rides for women. Rides go at a speed that suits everyone, and they often start or finish at a cafe so everyone can have a drink and a chat.
