A life given to gathering material, some might say. Suzanne has been a croupier and pit boss, a jeweller, a door-to-door purveyor of cleaning materials... oh, the list is endless. She trained as a fitness instructor at a laughably advanced age, and teaches classes part-time while studying at Glasgow University and wrestling happily with her second novel.

She has read at the Edinburgh Book Festival, both her own work and some really dirty bits out of Lady Chatterley, to an appreciative assembly of reprobates. She reads at numerous open-mic and invitation events, and loves the scary presence of an audience. So far she has refrained from throwing up in the wings, although L-Fest could change this.

“Effortlessly funny and uplifting” – The List. “Very British and original” – Clare Ashton, in Diva article
